TopBet is Good, But Limited

Topbet is a good sportsbook, but has very few payment options. The only withdraw method available is a paper check, but al least weekly payouts are free.

TopBet is another Sportsbook primarily providing betting for US players a decent online sportsbook (plus an online casino if you’re interested in losing your money fast!).

Here’s the deal – I’ve been watching this sportbook closely all through 2012. I delayed adding them to this site as I remember hearing some bad things about them just a few years ago. After hearing a good portion player experiences (plus my personal experience) I can say TopBet is currently offering a reliable and reputable betting service for Americans.

I’m keeping my eye on them, but as of now they have been a decent book for a high majority of bettors. They don’t have all the offerings of the big dogs like Bovada & BetOnline. For example: no live betting, no horse racing, no poker room. But for average sports bets and parlays they are a pretty solid sportsbook.  The only reason for the low rating of a 3.6 out of 5 is due to their limitations like no bank wires and very few deposit/cashing out options.

Their business is licensed from the government of Curacao, for obvious reasons. Members will have access to a range of sports and sporting events when betting at the TopBet.eu Sportsbook. A nice included perk is the number of bonuses and promotions, including an impressive welcome bonus and comprehensive loyalty program. There are a number of secure banking methods available and customer support is available via a number of convenient methods, including live chat.

Software and Sports

TopBet offers a range of sports and sporting events for bettors to bet on. These include NFL football, MLB baseball, NBA basketball, NCAA college football, NASCAR, tennis, NHL hockey, college basketball, CFL football, Arena football, WNBA, PGA golf, soccer, motor sports, boxing/ MMA, Canadian football, Indy racing, cricket and International Soccer.

There are a number of wager types available including straight bets, if bets, conditional bets, reverses, futures and props, parlays and round robins, buy points, second chance parlays, teasers and pleasers, action points and office pools. The site also lets you check their current betting odds without logging in.

Bonuses and Promotions

The TopBet Sportsbook offers a range of bonuses and promotions for its punters. New players at TopBet.eu will get a 50% match deposit bonus up to $250 on their first deposit at the betting site. EVERY additional deposit (after your first) will receive a 10% bonus up to $100. The bonus does have a 5x rollover though (for comparison – Bovada is 3x, BetOnline is 6x, Bookmaker is 4x and JustBet varies from 3x-10x)

There are also weekly account reload promotions so make sure to keep an eye on the promotions page of the sportsbook to not miss out on these special 20% – 30% bonuses. If you refer a friend to the TopBet website you will be awarded a 25% bonus up to $250, based on your friends deposit size.

Loyalty

Players also earn comp points (like in traditional land based casinos and sportsbooks) for placing bets and can redeem the points for more cash. There are currently only 3 rewards in the comp program:

  • $5 for 15,000 points
  • $20 for $50,000 points
  • $40 for 95,000 points

The best odds are on waiting until 50,000 points to convert for cash.

Banking

At the moment TopBet has the highest percentage of successful cc deposits. These cc deposits are using safe and secure methods. VISA, Reloadable VISA Debit, International Gift Cards, iKourna Cards (which uses Visa & MC), Quick Cash with WU & MG.

Customer Support

I’m disappointed with their support. Their customer service team is ONLY available via telephone or email. Most other sportsbooks have live help or live online chat. There is also a pretty big FAQ section located under the “HELP” tab, which contains the answers to most betting and bonus questions.
